Don't Expect This Often....

So, I got some computer time! Yeah! So, I have been in New York for three days, and I'm kinda bored. The rest of the family doesn't starting rolling in till tomorrow, so it's been me and my brothers and sister all here by ourselves, minus my uncle, but he moved in here. Not much going on, I just thought I would give you guys an update, prove I am still living. Well that's it.

Away Message

So, today is the day. I leave for New York later tonight and will be gone till the 6th. I know, thats forever. This means that I will most likely not be posting till I get back. Gasp I know, what will you all do? I don't know, so go find another blog to read, or go back to old post? Maybe make a blog of your own in the mean time. 

Back to the trip. I still have yet to finish packing, and I don't think I have enough room for all the clothes I'm gonna bring. I don't think I'm gonna have enough days to wear all the clothes I'm bringing! Oh well, I will make room. I might need another bag.....

A Day at the Zoo

So today we all ventured to the zoo. It took us close to an hour to get there, with the amount of times we got lost and had to turn around, then it took us another hour to get home, as we drove through DC, trying to find our way to New York Avenue. The zoo was pretty fun. I got to see the pandas! Oh and tigers, and lions, and bears, oh my! Ha. So Paulina is sleeping over again. Lots of fun to be had.

AP World Work Attempt #1

So, after yesterday's burning I decided to stay home and unfry. I figured it would be the perfect time to start my AP homework, which is basically an essay. I got the first paragraph done. What an accomplishment. I figure I'll get back to it later tonight and just right the rest of it, but it's so annoying, Its a DBQ essay from an AP text, and about the Han and Roman Empires and their attitudes toward technology, something I know nothing about. I want to get it done before I go to New York, so there's the rest of tonight, and tomorrow since I will need to pack thursday, then leave thursday night. My skin really hurts, so I think its time for more aloe.

Over Priced Dippin' Dots and Dirty Water

All present at Six Flags America, where we ventured to today. We we got there, the buy one get one free offer we thought would apply to over tickets, but it didn't, so Erin ended up having to pay an extra 123 dollars for us to get in. Then when Erin took her bag through security they said you can't bring food into the park so she had to go back to the car and put all the food back into the car, then spend over 60 bucks on food inside the park. Then we went on the Teacups. I hate the Teacups, with a passion, but Shannon loves them so we got stuck going on, and I almost puked. Then we went on the Penguin Blizzard ride twice and Erin almost puked. So we got food, went on the River Rapids ride, and then went on the Bumper cars. Me and Shannon rode in the same car and she kept trying to drive, so we ended up going in a circle for like 2 minutes. So after we exhausted ourselves at the regular park, we went to the water park, which was the best part. Me and James went on the Tornado Tunnel thing, which is this tube that drops you into a huge funnel basically and you slide from one side to the other. His facial expression were priceless, because by the time we got up he said he was scared, which was expected, but I got him on the ride, and in the tube he was the one who was facing the drop. I was backwards, so when he saw it his entire face just dropped into fear, and we started screaming, but once the drop was over and we were in the funnel, we started laughing, and by the time we were out of the ride we were cracking up. It was awesome. Overall it was a good day, except the part where I didn't put on any sunscreen, and am now suffering from a major case of sunburn. Time to go aloe up.

Ms Fix It

So, I decided I was getting annoyed with my stupid computer, so I tried to fix it. I didn't know what was wrong, just that the screen wasn't working, so I checked to make sure all the plugs were in, which they were. So I then proceeded to check the menu button, and randomly selected one, and BAMM! the computer was back! So, I really don't know what I did but I fixed it!

So today we did more work on the garage, and we cleaned out the shed so we can more my dads stuff into the shed from the garage, and make it into my room. I'm really excited, just not so thrilled about the cleaning process.

Sleepovers Make Me Sleepy

So last night was definately a sleepover to remember. Lots of ice cream, laughs, and no sleep, which the best ones are. So, we didn't go to sleep til 3:30, and then we woke up at 10 when Krista and Shannon proceded to leave. Then I went back to sleep and didn't wake up til 12:30. So yeah. Today consisted of me getting my hair cut, and going out to Borders to get one of my books for AP Lang. Not much. Our computer isn't working, so I'm on my mom's computer. Well, thats all I have to say....

The Jonas Brothers Are Amazing

So tonight is Camp Rock, and even though I already saw it, thanks to Verizon On Demand, I am still really excited. Paulina is sleeping over, ugh and so is Krista. Don't get me started on that. But any who, tonight will be awesome. 

So today we went down to Annapolis Harbor, which is always fun, and we saw a team of bicyclist who raced across America. And they were from Britain. What a way to cross the pond! They rode over 3000 miles from California to Annapolis. I would never, ever be able to do something like that, nonstop riding for days, weeks even. Just too much.  So after that we went into the little mall they have there, and then to the coolest book store I have ever seen. All the books were on sale, and there were some really interesting books there. I could have stayed there for hours but we had to leave. I think it would be awesome to own a book store. That is something I would defiantly go into, owning my own book store....

Day at the Beach

We went to the beach today. Very relaxing. It wasn't too hot, so it was more enjoyable. I attempted getting a tan, but all I got was a sun burnt face, and random splotches of burn on my elbow and chest, so not very successful. But overall it was a fun day at the beach. Tomorrow were gonna go the harbor, then the pool, so nothing excited. Chilling as always.

Cute Skirts Make My Day

So, we went to the mall today and I got the cutest skirt for the Jonas Brothers Concert at H&M. Its a bright blue mini skirt and it is adorable. I'm gonna wear it with my Horton Hears a Who shirt. Cute! Well, I am going to go do something. Probably think about the concert.

My Own Room

I have been sharing a room with my sister since she was born. She's 17 month younger than me. I have shared a room my entire life. But now, I am finally getting my own room! We are going to redo the garage into two new rooms. A chill space for my dad, and my own 13 by 13 room! AHHHHHHH! I am really excited. We started cleaning out the garage last night, and boy is it a mess. Well, at least we will have something to do over the summer!

Wild Night

Not really, no alcohol/ drunken sex was involved, but it was still really, really fun. This is what happens when you mix boredom, and camera and me, Paulina, and Shannon. I shall post pictures to describe better.

Happy Fathers Day....

So, today I really didn't do anything. Helped clean up the house for my dad, but that's about it. We never really go overboard for Father's day, but with four kids, and now like 16 father's days, it's kinda lost its meaning, but it is still dad's day, so we eat what he wants and do as he asks, without complaints, for one day. Paulina might be sleeping over tonight, that should be interesting, other than that, today has been pretty chill. Oh, last night I started my AP Bio sumer work, which I really had to think about. The biggest chunk is multiple choice questions, but there not straight forward, you have to think about them. But I got the 1st chapter done. Now I just have the outlines, the other 3 chapters, the 4 essays, and the project. And thats only Biology. I still have World history and AP Lang. Lots to do.

Relax and Enjoy the Fumes

So, as a treat to my sister, my mom took me and my sisters to go get manicures/pedicures. How relaxing.  The pedicure chair was awesome, especially on the roller setting. Now my nails are a bright blue, I never really liked my nail in a natural color, and my mom is down another 100 dollars. What else is new?

Lord it's Hot

Okay, so my room is the only room in my house with out the AC working. It's throughly annoying. So, I'm really hot right now. And the sun burn I got yesterday is actually a lot more spread out then just my face. My shoulders and my upper back got burned as well my chest. So my skin feels weird. My feet are getting tan though. Thats the only part of my that is though. Darn my pale Irish complexion.
